Your server(s) will be affected by these moves, and we would like to notify you of the upcoming maintenance.:

The Data Center goal is to provide you with the most dependable and flexible hosting infrastructure in the industry. To ensure the most reliable service, they are planning a maintenance window which may temporarily affect your services. Improvements made in a controllable and pro-active fashion will significantly reduce the risk of unplanned incidents. We appreciate your patience as we make these pro-active changes.

  While investigating the root cause of the 15-Mar-2013 backend network disruption, Network Engineers have identified a hardware issue on a backend customer router, bcr01b.ams01, which provides connectivity for your server(s). To prevent further unplanned outages resulting in significant downtime, engineers will be failing over to bcr01.ams01a, a redundant chassis, during an emergency maintenance window. During this maintenance, customer servers may experience connectivity issues on the private network as the redundant unit takes over. Public connectivity will not be effected by this maintenance.

Private network services including the following (but not limited to) will be impacted:

- Server to server connectivity on the private network
- iSCSI
- DNS resolution
- NAS
- eVault
- PPTP / SSLVPN connectivity to impacted servers

While the maintenance window is set for two hours, we expect less than 15 minutes of downtime. Again, NO downtime is expected on the public network.
